Part of my research agenda centers on the environmental consequences of government policies.  To gauge how policies affect the environment, I first seek to measure pollution in innovative ways.

I use machine learning to map pollution burden scores at the census tract level in the United States.

I apply remote sensing to obtain annual surface-based PM2.5 concentration level estimates that are based on three NASA satellite sensors.
